2010 OUR 30TH SEASON
Welcome Friends,
The 2010 season of Apponaug Girls Softball will mark the leagues 30th year of play and this page is designed to celebrate all the joy and friendships that have been part of this history. Tens of thousands of girls have either played in our league or participated in the many tournaments held at Winslow Park each summer. We have seen many changes over the years ,such as switching from slow pitch to fast pitch, but the happy memories that are shared when speaking to former and present players is always a constant reminder of how important youth sports programs are .
The 2010 AGS Board of Directors would like to thank all coaches and volunteers who over the past 30 years have contributed to the success of the league and more importantly to the shaping of young lifes.

Anniversary Field Day Announced
On May 22nd, from 3-7pm , Winslow Park will be the location of
many fun events for the players, families and friends of AGS both
current and former as part of our 3Oth Anniversary celebration. The day
will feature inflatables from Jumpin-fun
, softball skills contests, games, food, raffles,music and a special
appearance by balloon artist Bruce
Kalver. Please mark your calendar for this great day
Also As Part of our the event we will be holding "veterans" games at
Winslow Park. If you are a former player of any age who would
like to participate please email:agsoftball@verizon.net
