2010/2011 WINTER PITCHER/CATCHER CLINICS

The Apponaug Girls Softball Board of Directors is happy to announce that the league once again will hold pitcher and catcher clinics during the winter of 2010/2011.  They will be starting December 3, 2010 at 8:15 to 9:45 and will be held in the small gym at Warwick Vets High School.  This is a great opportunity for beginners to advanced players to work on their skills in preparation for the 2011 softball season.

There is no charge for players registered with any AGS 2010 program. Players from outside AGS softball will be charged a $25.00 fee to participate for the winter.

The clinics are open to all ages and the classes will be held each week on Fridays except for school vacation weeks throughout the winter.

AGS is proud to announce our winter clinic pitching instructor
Debbie Ulatowski-Iniguez

Pius XI HS (’95)
University of West Alabama (’98)

Debbie attended Pius XI high school (1991-1995) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she attained a 52-2 career pitching record. She led her team to three State titles while earning All-State honors in 1995.

As a student-athlete at the University of West Alabama (1996-1998), Debbie earned All Conference (Gulf South Conference) and All Region accolades as a utility player playing Pitcher, 1st Base and Outfield. She played a pivotal role in helping lead her team to a conference championship in 1997.

After completing college Debbie coached The Milwaukee Competitors fast pitch softball travel team for 3 seasons. She continued to coach and provide individual lessons while living in Miami, Florida. After moving to Rhode Island and having 3 little girls of her own she is now ready to get involved with the local softball programs. She is very excited to learn Rhode Island softball history as well as see all the local talent. She spent a winter at Extra Innings giving pitching and hitting clinics as well as continuing her private pitching lessons.
