Softball Commandments:
Hitters
1. Make every at bat a good one.
2. Always get the sign from the coach.
3. Know how to execute the bunt (get it down).
4. Don't ever chase a bad pitch just because you were given the green light on a
3-0 count.
5. NEVER LOOK BACK AT THE UMPIRE ON A DELAYED CALL!!!!
6. NEVER LOOK BACK AT THE UMPIRE AFTER A CALLED STRIKE!!!!
7. NEVER TAKE A CALLED THIRD STRIKE!!!!! Protect the plate on close pitches.
BASERUNNERS
1. ALWAYS HUSTLE!!!!!!
2. ALWAYS GET THE SIGN!!!!
3. Never run through a coach's stop sign.
4. SLIDE, SLIDE, SLIDE!!!!!!
PITCHERS
1. Get the lead off out/do not walk the lead off batter.
2. Always try to stay ahead in the count, make the batter swing.
3. Always be around the strike zone, minimize wild pitches and dirt balls.
4. Never allow back to back walks.
5. Do not give up 0-2 hits. Finish off the batter.
