Yesterday was "Giving Tuesday" around the globe, and Indy Eleven celebrated the power of giving downtown at the FifthThird Tower at JMV Live with 1070 the Fan.

The drive, which ran from 9 AM - 7 PM at the Illinois Street location, featured hundreds of participants giving blood through the #GiveHope movement that supports Riley Children's Hospital. Starting at 4 PM, Indy Eleven had a bigger presence at the event with staff members donating blood while goalkeeper Jon Busch hopped on the mic with one of "Indy's Sportscenter's" best in JMV. The first 20 people during the 4 PM hour also received an Indy Eleven scarf while one lucky fan won a pair of season tickets for the 2017 season. In addition, "Buschy" donated a signed shirt, pair of gloves, and photo with proceeds given to the Riley Hospital.

On the day, Busch stated that giving back to the community, and to kids, in particular, was his only focus.

"It's always important to give back and take care of our children," he said. "It all centers around giving back and that's why today is important. It's about the folks, families, and kids in our community."

In addition, Indy Eleven offered fans their own opportunity to give back through gift tickets, our Kicks for Kids program, and our Military Appreciation program, with offers running up through the 2017 season. For more information on how to give back in the Indianapolis community, visit here.
