Cody Edwards is our spotlight player of the month.  Cody is currently on Chicago Rush U10 Nero and this is his third year of travel soccer, 5th year overall.  Cody is a youngest of triplets and has another brother who is just two years older.  Being in a large family has taught Cody some valuable lessons that he applies to his soccer game; most notably a strong sense of competition.  Cody works hard to outshine his opponent whether on the soccer field or in the back yard playing Nerf Wars against his sister.  Or competing for the coveted last Barbacoa Taco at dinner.

Cody is a true student of the game and is continually raising his skills through hard work and true dedication.  He spends countless hours after practice working with his siblings on their skills and he shows tremendous leadership on his U10 Nero team.  Cody helps keep his team focused and sets the bar high for work ethic on his team. 

Cody is genuinely an inspiration to every young player who has to work hard for his/her success.
