           2011 APPONAUG GIRLS SOFTBALL

Apponaug Girls Softball 31th spring season will begin with games  starting, Wednesday, April 20th. Opening day will be April 23rd,  and preparations are already  being made to make the upcoming year an enjoyable experience for all players, parents and coaches.

AGS is a volunteer driven organization and help is always welcome. The more hands that are available to assist in coaching, Winslow Park field maintenance, snack bar, and special events will help make 2011  a great year for the AGS community.  For more information on how you can become part of our team please contact any AGS Board Member.

Senior and Master Division Age Change

        The AGS Board of Directors has approved an age change for the Senior Division for the 2011 spring season.  Players aged 11 and 12  as of 1/1/11 will be comprise  the Senior Division  while players 13 through Senior year of High School will make up the Masters Division. The pitching distance for the seniors will remain at 40’ while the Masters will be  43’.
