Jillian Walsh commits to UMass Dartmouth Softball

In April, AGS Player Jillian Walsh received an offer to play softball for UMass Dartmouth. As a proud member of Tollgate High, she wanted to “sign” her commitment in the high school gym. Like all things, COVID delayed her effort. We are excited to share that on a snowy February morning, her Vice Principals, TG softball coaches, family, and friends were all gathered while she signed her intent to play at UMass Dartmouth Softball!

Jillian started playing recreational softball at Apponaug at 8 years old. Falling in love with the sport, she took her skills to the next level, trying out and joining the leagues12U Pride travel team. 2021 will see this amazing athlete compete in her18U season.

The Walsh family has dedicated the last decade to Apponaug Girls Softball, Winslow Park, and the amazing families that help this league to be successful. Jillian is the personification of PRIDE.

We’re all looking forward to her college future, and beyond! Congrats Jillian, your hard work and dedication has brought you this amazing accomplishment.
